Combining Space and Product Diversity

Warmlite had the rare opportunity to purchase their adjoining shop which gave me the opportunity to create a new showroom that incorporated the very latest panoramic glazing products such as large sliding patio doors, bi-fold doors and a selection of lantern roof-lights.

A contemporary ‘lifestyle’ appearance is gained from lots of natural daylight, hotspot downlighting and wide expanses of glass. Despite this lovely spacious design, every PVCu, aluminium and timber product has been incorporated without having to resort to ‘sample’ windows leaning up against available wall-space. They estimate a 30% increase in footfall in the first year.

The colour scheme is deliberately muted enabling subtle product colours to stand out. Air-conditioning and a bubbling coffee machine add to the comfort of the showroom for unhindered browsing.

Fenestration showrooms have become very cluttered over the last 20 years thanks to the relentless supply of new products, materials and an infinite choice of colours and finishes. The careful selection of designs and finishes is required, with reference to current fashions and suitability of surrounding properties.
